BlackBerry Live 2013 : Update BB 10.1

BlackBerry Update 10.1 will soon be available for Z10 users. The update will be released by the mobile operator partners a few weeks away, and comes with several new features. Let's look at the new features.

BlackBerry Hub, a central feature of BB10 now supports PIN to PIN messages for communication between BlackBerry devices.


In addition, there is support for enhanced attachment to allow users to see the new email that is sent as an attachment to another message.
Notifications can now be personalized to account and contact you via ring tone, vibration, and LED lighting.

Another new feature is the cursor control better, provide more convenience and accuracy of typing. Tap once to bring up the cursor, then grab the blue circle and drag it to a spot about a specific location in accordance with your wishes. Tap on either side of the circle to move toward the left or right with just one character.

Mode High Dynamic Range (HDR) is also included in the BB10 camera. The feature allows a variety of photo shoots at different exposure levels and automatic coating them to produce a single photo that combines the bright and dim areas.



BlackBerry World today has more than 120,000 applications. Some famous apps like Skype and SoundHound will be available at BlackBerry World after update to BB10.1. Despite Blackberry trying to overtake Windows Phone (145,000 applications), the number of applications is still lagging far behind Apple's App Store and Google Play, each of which has more than 700,000 applications.
